At Synergy, we believe it’s important to serve our community. Our relationships with local professional organizations like the The Ronald McDonald House, Housing First, and AIA Minnesota give us opportunities to share our time and energy with others.

Community Service

Located near the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital, the Ronald McDonald house has been a home away from home for ill children and their families since 1979. Recently Synergy Products was able to donate Sierra Pacific H3 windows to convert porches into new bedrooms for these families.

During a time of need, the Ronald McDonald House took care of one of our team’s family members. We have since seized opportunities to support their mission through volunteering and special event sponsorship.

Founded in 2012, the Red Shoe Society-Upper Midwest is an association of young professionals dedicated to raising awareness for RMHC (Ronald McDonald House Charities) while promoting volunteerism and generating financial support.

The group hosts numerous networking, fundraising, and volunteer events including bi-monthly Cooks for Kids meals.

We are actively involved in the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC), the professional organization for Builders & Remodelers in the Twin Cities. We are also proud supporters of the BATC Foundation, helping to provide safe, quality, affordable housing for those in need.

Over the past 20 years, Bridges of Hope has built a strong community support system that provides Resource Connections Services to our neighbors in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Recently we have added Operation Sandwich and the Community Overnight Shelter, programs that offer immediate assistance to those that need it most.

The North American Pond Hockey Championship weekend events are organized by volunteers with the DWB Memorial Foundation, an organization which carries on the legacy of David Wynn Bigham of Shorewood. Bigham, who passed away suddenly in 2012, was a fixture in local sports & community organizations. He played with the St. Paul Vulcans hockey team and spent 8 years in professional baseball with the Mn Twins & several other organizations. After retiring from professional baseball, Bigham devoted many hours to the NAPHC event. The DWB Memorial Foundation has raised over $1,000,000 for charitable organizations.

The American Bandy Association (ABA), also called USA Bandy, is the governing body of bandy in the United States. The association was established and became a member of the Federation of International Bandy in 1981, and was recognized as a non-profit corporation in 1983. ABA runs the American Bandy League. It also arranges an international summer camp for children every year. All ABA league games are played at the Guidant John Rose Minnesota Oval in Roseville, Minnesota.

The Jack Jablonski Foundation is a charitable organization created to advance treatments for paralysis recovery. The organization started by accident when Jack Jablonski was hit during a high school hockey game. The injury left him quadriplegic. Jack rose to local and national recognition. The outpouring of support not only helped Jack begin the journey toward his goal to skate again, it also provided inspiration for his family & friends to create a foundation that would benefit everyone living with paralysis from an injury to the spinal cord.

Associations

Many of our product lines are architecturally driven, to ensure we stay in touch with this segment of the industry. Synergy Products staff are members and active in the Minnesota Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the advocate for the Minnesota architect as the valued collaborative leader in shaping the built environment for the public good.

Housing First Minnesota

As and Elite Member Partner, we proudly support Housing First Minnesota.

Housing First Minnesota got its start in the late 1930s who’s goal was to increase the professionalism and quality of the homebuilding industry. Members subscribe to a defined code of ethics. All builder and remodeler members are licensed through the state of Minnesota and must comply with the rules, regulations, and continuing education requirements set by State Statutes.

To stay on trend and in tune with the residential and commercial building communities, we are members of the Minnesota chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), the primary remodeling resource for professionals and consumers.

In the recent two years, NARI Cares has provided over $50,000 worth of remodeling services to those in need!

The National Association of Home Builders of the United States strives to protect the American Dream of housing opportunities for all, while working to achieve professional success for its members who build communities, create jobs and strengthen our economy.
